What We Are About

Championing Equality: The Work of Action for the Woman’s Pride Initiative

At Action for the Woman’s Pride Initiative (AWPI), we are committed to empowering marginalized and vulnerable women and girls in Uganda. Founded to address the challenges of limited access to reproductive health, legal services, and economic opportunities, AWPI works tirelessly to create a more just and equitable society.

Our efforts focus on combating gender-based violence, ending child marriage, and fostering leadership and economic independence for women and girls. Through collaboration with communities, families, and traditional leaders, we strive to uplift and transform lives, ensuring that the rights of women and girls are respected and protected.
