Our Approach

At Action for the Woman’s Pride Initiative (AWPI), we are dedicated to empowering marginalized and vulnerable women and girls in Uganda by addressing barriers to reproductive health, legal services, and economic opportunities.

Our Objectives

Key Strategies for Empowerment

At AFPI, our objectives are designed to meet urgent needs, support education, and build sustainable futures for vulnerable families across Uganda. Here’s how we’re making a lasting impact:

Expand Access to Basic Needs

Provide food, medical care, clothing, and shelter to 5,000 vulnerable families to ensure their survival and dignity.

Build Community Resilience

Establish sustainable support systems, including family counseling, mental health services, and career guidance for youth and women.

Address Humanitarian Needs

Prioritize aid for families affected by natural disasters, conflict, and climate change, focusing on the most vulnerable regions.

Exploring the Key Objectives of the AWPI Initiative

1. Rural Outreach and Family Registration: AFPI will conduct extensive outreach in remote rural areas, prioritizing families displaced by natural disasters, conflict, or poverty.

2. Provision of Basic Needs: The initiative will offer essential resources like food, medical insurance, and school uniforms to restore stability for vulnerable households.

3. Disaster Relief and Climate Resilience: Focus on aiding families affected by environmental disasters. Special attention will be given to those in camps or displaced due to climate change.

4. Establishment of Local Committees:Local committees will be formed to manage procurement, logistics, and ensure transparency and efficiency in operations.
